It seems very quiet. I am using the X-Fi music sound card.

I have the volume at 75% and it sounds loud but nowhere near my previous set the ADA 995(half volume was too loud). So far i am feeling i was stupid for buying this as it lacks the punch of the ADA 995 in every way. :(

I hope i am mising something here because i want to like these speakers.

x-fi sound volume is 74%

Same for the Logitech. It is loud but seems to be nothing compared to the ADA 995. I am messing around with the system but its dissapointing so far. Seems like a step down :/ . In Batman Begins the subwoofer sounds kinda all over the place instead of in control. I feel like i am not hearing thuds properly.

Good stuff happening now. :) It gets loud at 75% on the speaker volume control and the sub seems to be more in control. Liam Neesons voice was causing the sub to roar. Will mess abit more and see hwo it turns out. Its not a huge step up from ADA 995 but its an improvement i am guessing ;)

How do i make the volume on 100% sound really loud?

Well nothing is wobbling in my room :P

So far i am liking it. I think it needed tweaking. I made the default x-fi setting louder and it helps. The control center on the logitech is pretty good as you can make channel adjusments on the fly.

So i have to say its excellent so far. Bad start but you need to tweak it to your liking.

The sub is the first thing to turn down else it will boom on almost any sound ;). As long as master volume on the card is at 100%, should be getting really loud sound. Check wav mixer volume to be around 75/80% (to avoid clipping/crackling). some programs games seem to mess this volume level up on there own accord.

Yeah i noticed. Happy now however. Good speakers and i can use it on the dvd player and consoles too in my bedroom. :)
