Logitech Z523 2.1 Speaker System problem

This morning when I turned on my PC I found that my speakers are not working properly. The light is on when I turn them on, but there is almost no sound at all coming through the speakers. Only when I turn the volume up to maximum can I really hear anything, and then the sound is full of popping noises from the speakers.

It was working perfectly fine last night. Honestly dont know what could be wrong. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Ok never mind. The problem seems to have solved itself. Its working again as normal. Weird...

Ok its doing it again today. Was fine until I turned it off last night. Now theres no sound unless I turn it up to max, and its full of popping noises. Doesnt seem to want to go away this time too

Could have developed a fault. Have you an MP3 player or laptop you can connect them to, just to see if it is the speakers?

Fraid not. It spontaniously started working again. If it keeps doing it I'll have to contact OCUK, see if I can get them replaced.
