Logitech Z533 speakers

Bought these speakers earlier today.

Going straight back. The sub makes a weird whistling/squealing noise when the system is turned off. Does it even when no inputs are connected.

Also when switched on the front speakers hiss no matter the volume.

When I was researching they had really good reviews. Now I've googled the issues I see there are loads of people with it and even videos on YouTube of the annoying squeal.

I don't recommend these speakers in case anyone is ever considering them.

Now the search for a 2.1 system continues

Do you think so mate? I see they have good reviews but a few complaints about the volume buttons.

I never buy from the high street shops but I do pop into them to try stuff out. was looking at the sound sticks today but unfortunately the speaker with the volume controls on it was broken and the plastic was all loose. sort of put me off them as I was concerned about sturdiness.

The shop gave me a second pair of Z533's to try. exactly the same problem again. sub completely silent when switched on. as soon as its switched off the squealing electrical noise began. Could either keep them and never turn the things off or instead I opted for the refund.

Ill watch some videos on youtube about the soundsticks whilst my research continues.
