Are these still classed as the speakers to beat?

Had seen them in offer and was wondering what people's thoughts were. Seen a few reviews where they say they're not that great, lack sound detail etc.

I can get them for roughly the same price you said. £180ish.

I've gone ahead and bought them, will see what they're like.
