Logmein - Odd behaviour using IE and Outlook?

I was logged onto a friends machine last night (XP) using LogMeIn and when trying to use IE it basically couldn't get to a website, and Outlook just seemed to hang at times when sending/receiving?

The machine was rebooted and I reconnected and the same problems happened again?

Is there anything odd about LogMeIn such that it can conflict/trip up these sorts of things on the machine you're controlling?

i've never had any problems like that caused by logmein. Is it possible it was another fault?

Absolutely, but the machine (& even router) were rebooted before me logging in for a second time, and the problems continued...

FALSE ALARM - Turns out it was misbehaving before I used LogMeIn, and just misbehaving fullstop! They didn't bother telling me till I asked specifically!!!

Now to find out why IE can't browse anywhere without hanging, and why Outlook hangs as well at times
