Logo design help

If any of you have some free time and want a virtual cookie.

Im trying to design a logo for Smithy Education ( where bright futures are forged). The colours of the website is #c5b6e3 been doing some with anvil's in the logo' but this make it look like a blacksmiths than an educational site.
So trying to do something different but dont really know what i can use instead

Think this should be simple but cant find a good way to do it in fireworks
http://www.logoguru.co.uk/drafts/display/contest/62389/draft/470902 The writing in the top and bottom triangles how do i do this effect? I have tried to split both words im using in half and use the skew tool but it looks wrong.
Any ideas?

So you want to just take someone else's logo design and use it as yours?

nope I wanted to know what to google for to be able to do that effect. found out its envelope mesh that im looking for.

going to put smithy along the top and have it resting on the word education which will be in a pyramid type

Hey man,
you can use logopond for inspiration, they have a very good collection. Google it.
Also for colors, there are things like color schemer, or color lovers, to help you with picking colors.
