thanks mate and no i just unplugged the fan for a laugh . I thought the thermal limit was like 70 degrees?

I have seen AMD processors cook mate - and then explode. There was a video of a bloke doing just that over on Toms a few years ago. Can't find it now but hell it was an eye opener.

haha yer it does get pretty damn hot i got it to 117 celcius before it shut down i wonder if that is a record on these forums haha

eh? how you even got the pc to boot into windows, looks to be a software glitch.

yer i though it was a fault with the software but when i put the fan back on the temp was about 28 celcius which seems normal.

haha i didnt notice you only disconnected the fan (note to self, read next time)
