lol my blizzard acc got locked!

Due to suspicious activity, this account has been locked. A message has been sent to this account’s email address containing details on how to resolve this issue.

Been getting tons of Blizzard emails lately most of the early ones were spam, dodgy links which i never visted. Now i'm getting legit ones it seems saying about someone trying to sell e.t.c account.

I haven't used it in months, last time i played a blizzard game was the Starter Pack Diablo 3.

When you try to fix through legit means it you get

An error has occurred.
This e-mail/name combination does not exist.

Starrd it out so people don't click on it!, yet going through the proper blizzard channel http://eu.battle.net/en/ and it is locked

Just as a random thought have you tried accessing the official site from another computer, on the off chance your PC has been compromised and is actually forwarding/redirecting you to a dodgy page?

I receive this email a lot and it's not legit. If you have any problems just ring Blizz directly, it's cheap and free from Skype.

I have a hunch you're being tricked into clicking a fake link. You should keep an authenticator on your smartphone for it, even if you don't play the games a lot.

Went through skype spoke to a very nice bloke at blizzard EU, basically told him some specific things which would assure anyone that me hacking or getting my acc hacked would be VERY rare.

He checked and i was locked/banned because my ISP was hugely different , Last time i logged in to battenet was over a year ago lol.

He unlocked, cleared it and i'm back in!

WIN, not that i'd be using it though haha

Yea I had this when logging in to diablo 3 for the first time in over a month. Decided that my 'irregular login activity' warranted disabling my account.

Apparently not wanting to play their game is a suspicious activity. Who knew..

You have got to watch those links, they are just scams to get your account details.

Anyone who isn't using an Authenticator with their Battle.net account is asking for trouble. While nothing is 100% secure it does help keep your account safe.
