i took the panel off a few saw the mod i did with the mesh its now become rusty! which is pap, so i took it off i now have a window without a window. so ive now put some fans where the window should be, hard to explain.

just gotta dust regulary now

i dont think the mesh stuff i bought was rust free?

it looks fine imagine it with a plastic window, take the window out, and replace every plastic screw that holds the window in with a silver capped one. and then a fan mounted on one of the screw holes to cool the gfx card looks sweet, i dust it everyday to make sure it doesnt get too dusty

No sir. It does oxidize but it's not as reactive as the iron in steel. Everybody's got Lian Li cases and they aren't decomposing just yet.
