they need to :
ditch the terrible matchmaking lobby
put in dedicated server support
fix character models (far too square)
add lean
fix vehicle handling (heli and cars)
better missions (less linear, dont penalise for going off course, more missions, better variety)
allow you to roam the whole map
provide patches when needed rather than just giving up when people get whiney
the one thing I did like was the environment and its graphics / effects
grass / skies etc where pretty and very moody made you feel like you were on a wind swept hillside
