adds every single free 2 play game on steam to your games library...
and you thought origin was bad
121 games in my library and I should have about 20.....
Hopefully in the next proper Steam update they don't force this crap on you, it's annoying enough that they've added all the trading card rubbish and "Steam Levels".

what if I don't want to show installed games but all games I bought?
I don't have all the games I might want to play installed.
maybe I get bored and decide to look what I could play out of the games I own? do I want to see that list jumbled up with a bunch of crap I do not wish to play nor will I ever want to play
If people want to play free 2 play games then there's a section where you can browse them in the store they don't need to be rammed down peoples throats

It's a beta - if you opt in, then you're testing the beta. You test, you give feedback, and they'll resolve any bugs.

I agree with OP, it's a daft move, but simply put it in Steam forums and via feedback and they might take the hint...
I have all my games listed as I have hundreds in my library, adding another 200 to that already giant list and many of my own games will be lost amongst the tonne of crap.

Does not bother me tbh, I will just add a F2P section and whack them all in that if it is forced after beta.

Hopefully it's just a bug or something they'll change with feedback, yeah.
That said, my Steam library is already such a mess that I'm not sure how much difference it would make to me in terms of (lack of) organisation
