Not too sure how many people will get as excited as i am but the other day my wife brought home a little present for me. She knows i'm really into my film photography and saw a camera at a car boot sale and thought i might like it.

So now i can proudly say i own a 1986 ZENIT LC-A!
paid handsome sum of £15 for it so i'm quite impressed with her!

Yeah seems to be chalk and cheese. I need some new light seals but will hopefully get it out there soon.

thanks, yeah i'm well versed on the origins of retouching, I used to do a bit of dodge and burn back when I printed my own b/w images.

Well technically yes but it was made for export so it's actually branded as Zenit rather than LOMO.
Yeah i think some of the character is those little light leaks, they can give some really interesting effects.
