Hi,

My tube wasn't running the other night so waiting outside I took a quick long exposure shot whilst sitting on a ledge. No tripod but sat the camera on the ledge and used the self timer to eliminate camera shake. Must get back out with a tripod one night :D

I like it...I don't think it needs any more car lights in. Just right.

Quite spooky that person standing at the side of the road in the foreground

Wow, I like it! What camera did you use? I'm in the market atm!

Get a cheapy film SLR, learn technique, metering etc. then save up for a digital SLR camera.

You don't need the best there is - just a good eye and good command of a camera ;)

Thanks for the positive coments :D

I use a Fujifim Finepix s9500. Although, If i had my time again I think I would have spent the extra and got a DSLR with kit lens and looked at getting more lenses later. Don't get me wrong, the camera is a fantastic bit of kit for the money, but it ain't an SLR. Perhaps next year i will get a DSLR but I think the wife will go mental if she know I'd spunked a moneky (ooer  ) so soon after getting the s9500.

You could have decrease the iso speed there, and got a longer exposure time, which would have captured more light trails, and made the ghostly figure on the left a little less scary!

Good picture :)

i like the amount of light trails think its just right, shame about the street light i think without that it would be perfect or maybe if it were less intense.
Great pic all the same.

Nice. I find the blue light to be just a tad overpowering though. Obviously you can't exactly turn that off though :)

My tube wasn't running Monday, Tuesday and Today - I to, go via Bank. How irritating it is! GOod you made use of the disruption here though!

Top shot mohain i really like light trail shots. i like the lights just above the pillar, kind of makes the shot look abit mystical. The image of the person is freaky though!

great shot, love the effect of the light trails and the street lamp with the star light effect

excellent work :)
