Am considering a 2nd hand purchase from an outlet of the LCE. Anything I should be aware of?

Are warranties included or are things sold on an 'as you find them' basis?

Cheers.

I bought a used Canon 5D Mark II from them a couple of years ago with 1100 shots and it was great. Can't recall what warranty they provided but it definitely worth asking. The price for the camera was great at the time, I would compare it with a site like mpbphotographic beforehand though if I were you.

I have nothing but good things to say about LCE (Nottingham). They have bent over backwards to be helpful with aftercare. They were also cheaper than anywhere on line when I got my D7100 and threw in a free kit bag.

I bought my gf a D3100 a while back from LCE (I think it was bath, but can't entirely remember) over the phone. Lovely person on the other end of the phone, great price and delivered quickly and exactly on spec. Well packed too. Not sure but I think the warranty they give is six months for used items but is worth checking with them on the phone first

Dealt with them twice and each time excellent service, delivery, packing and keenly priced as well. I think they still do 6 month warranty on bodies as well so a no brainer imo.

Used them several times (Guildford, Norwich and London Strand). Great service.

Pretty sure you get a 6 month warranty as standard. Being real humans, I'm sure you can negotiate more.

I've used them, I think the shops are franchises. They certainly don't seem to have very consistent pricing. I paid £69 for a Nikkor AF 70-210 f4-5.6 which was exactly the same price I'd paid for one in MM.

You get a 3 month warranty.
