London locations?

I'm going up to London on Monday to meet up with some friends. I'm going to have some spare time between some shopping and meeting them in the evening, so I was planning on taking some photos, trouble is, it's been years since I've lived there, and I'm not sure where might be good for locations in the day.

Architecture and urban landscape suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm going to be fairly central, but can travel on the Tube.

Last time I went was with the OcUK crew (we really should meet up again!) but I remember the borough market and surrounding area being a superb place for candids.

I also remember mrk nearly getting his head kicked in!!

try the Royal Courts of Justice (you can only shoot outside, which is a shame cos there's some gorgeous stuff inside) and the Natural History Museum - that's ia a stunning building, virtually every window has a different animal gargoyle.
