London Pride (beer?)

London Pride takes its name from a common name for the Saxifraga × urbium flower, in use by the nineteenth century.

The flower provided shoots of recovery on the bombed sites left by the London Blitz of the early 1940s, and as such held symbolism for Londoners, celebrated in a patriotic song written in 1941 by Noël Coward.

Does the London Pride beer have anything to do with the "parade" or it's just a coincidence? Just wondering.
Drinking it in a pub is a well-known secret sign that you're a woolly woofter and that you want to make sweet manlove with the bartender. If he asks you for money after pouring it it means he's down for some hanky panky.
