London Restaurant to visit

Hello people,

I'm going to London on Friday for a couple of day's and I am looking for decent restaurant's to visit for dinner. I have had a look on Tripadvisor but the vast array of restaurant's makes it hard to choose just a couple.

I don't have any specific requirement's, I am not a lover of fish though. More of meat eater. I don't mind travelling a little distance as the tube makes that easy.

Not tried many different cuisine so feel free to suggest any.

No set budget either although don't fancy paying more than £150 for 2 people. Exception can be made though.

We are staying quite far out near Wembley, however it isn't too bad as we will be in the centre (ish) everyday. Will try Michelin Starred if possible but not too fussed. Never tried it so would be a good experience to have. Were visiting many places all over the capital, this is mainly somewhere to visit on Saturday night after a day shopping all over the place.

Yeah there are.... Thousands. Spent 4 hours looking today and still clueless.

Hello people,

Thank you for all the suggestion's, we ended up visiting the Hawkmoor Seven Dials. The steak was absolutely gorgeous.

We both had the fillet steak cooked Medium/rare and it was the best I have ever had. Cooked to perfection! Had beef dripping chips, tomato sald, peppercorn sauce and a bone marrow gravy to go with it all between us. Never tried the bone marrow gravy before so got that just to try and was lovely.

Overall a very enjoyable evening, both had mains and dessert aswell as wine and cocktails each and it came to £170. I thought that was resonable and will visit again sometime.

Did try to visit Meat Liquor but the queue was horrendous. Would have took at least an hour to get to the front never mind eat!

I tried meatmarket in Covent Garden and loved the burger and was surprised by the place. Was totally different from what I expected. A hidden gem somewhat. Took me ages to find! Maybe I'm just a idiot.
