I love the 6th photograth!!!!

What shutter speed did you have the London Eye photo on??? because it doesnt go round that fast but yet you've created fast effect!!!

I like the South Bank - I was walking along there yesteday night and I saw someone with a 350D taking night shots - it might have been you?? I think they all look great, very difficult to get the exposure spot-on. The colour in your houses of parliament looks a bit yellow?

Here's my version:

I do like city long exposures, good job with these - just get out and practice more :)

They are indeed good, and i also love taking them - however the one thing i worry about is wandering into dodgy areas or just getting mugged, i dont fancy a kicking, or having my gear nicked.

so true. The last one was taken behind the OXO tower, and was in an empty courtyard. When I first walked in there were 2 seriously dodgy looking blokes hanging around, so did an about turn and went back half an hour later when the coast was clear.

You do have to be careful walking about at night with almost a grand of kit

Lovely! Especially no.4!! Is Big Ben a bit wonky though - perhaps rotate a degree or two counterclockwise.

I want to get down to the South Bank for some night photography during a weeknight (rather than busy weekends) at some point

you say your still learning...can't be much more to learn with shots like those! absolutely great imo...onviously theres one or two things that aren't quite there...and for that i'd advise you do what i do with shooting on my EOS...shoot in RAW...if you end up with some minor imperfections, you can simply make them vanish in PS whilst processing them, whats more RAW is far higher quality and theres a load more to say about it...just make sure you've got at least 1gb CF cards!

anyway...nice shots, and good luck with the 350d...canon ***
