My dear ol' mum of 84 has been given a quiz question by her friend. She asked me if I can help her. She said the question is "a famous london street with 6 consecutive consonants", ie, her understanding is that the whole name has no more than 6 letters and are all consonants. I'm pretty sure the question was badly worded to her as the best I can come up with is kniGHTSBRidge, meaning the question should probably be "a famous london street containing 6 consecutive consonants". She's going to ring her friend and clarify. Meanwhile, can you think of any other answer? :)

Also, consecutive doesn't have to be alphabetically successive does it?

i dont know any places in london, but my initial guess out of nowhere was, knightsbridge, i had a moment, a moment of clarity

You need to be quite special to think that "with 6 consecutive consonants" doesn't include "containing 6 consecutive consonants".

It's not badly worded.

Did you even read the opening post or do you just like to sound like a dick for the sake of it? The question was put to her that the whole name of the street is only 6 letters long, all consonants.

Sounds like it was put to her that the name had 6 consecutive consonants in it, and she got confused. Which being 84, you can hardly blame her for.

Tbh, that's my thoughts as well, but she tells me she's positive her friend said it's only a 6 letter name.

According to you: it was put to her as "with 6 consecutive consonants", that she misunderstood that as "6 letters long, all consonants" doesn't mean it's badly worded just that she misunderstood it.

Name a station on the London Underground whose name contains all five vowels.

There is at least two answers - supposedly - I can only find one.
