London train ticket

Weird that the XC code shows super off-peak being valid after 0930 from my station, yet the National Rail /GWR sites don't offer it on the 0952, only the 1113 onwards. Helpful.

maybe best to check in that case, the link is broken on the national rail site and that page is a cached one - things may have changed (though I'd have assumed not generally)

I'm 99% sure that won't work on any FGW route.

As stated the OP just needs to go on the NR website or FGW website and enter his approximate travel time. All returns are open returns nowadays (yet another way for them to screw you over), so unless by some miracle it works out that buying two singles is cheaper, you'll be getting a return. But, it's FGW so that is unlikely.

I put in next Tues as we don't know OPs date of travel, it'll be much of a muchness though http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/BRI/PAD/150316/1030/arr/150316/1830/dep

LOL at £198 for a peak return. Trains in this country are brilliant  You can get an off-peak return for £71 that leaves BTM at 0830 and gets in at 1015. If you need ot get in any early then prepare to sell a kidney (it's £198).

I have pasted the relevant part of that restriction code earlier today...

Not true.

Or he could just read the restriction information posted TWICE now in this thread :p

Actually booked sufficiently far in advance two Advance Singles are almost always cheaper than a return ticket.
