hello guys, I need help as computer needs to be fixed asap. I just replaced mobo in this PC case:
and now we have here PC case which got Foxconn mobo with LGA775 (Awflash/phoenix bios) plus Intel Duo Quad processor, 3GB DDR2, PCIe graphics card (also there is integrated graphics), 750GB sata HDD and sata DVDRW.
The OS boots perfectly BUT when I restart computer it cannot boot at all. It doesn't pass the POST short beep and keep bleeping (long beeps) continuously. Then if I hold power button and shut down it and turn it on again - no problem at all. So there is definitely no problem with loose RAM or other hardware coz it is booting up every time I push the power button on. But if computer needs to be restarted, problem starts again.
So far I flashed BIOS (maybe to try another version of bios??) and still the same long beeps after restarting computer. Even If I make changes in BIOS and computer obviously needs to be restarted - it happens again (not even post logo screen appears).
Now any thoughts would be helpful as I need to understand how different system understands when I press 'power on' button and 'restart' function.
Thanks
