hi all i have a problem that is when i turn on my computer it will instantly restart then boot up like normal but i noticed it takes like 10 - 15 seconds before it even posts it just spins with the fans on full speed? i have increased my BCLIK number to give me a overclock but i have left the vcore voltage stock and i am wondering is this the reason why?

setup:
intel 7 920
gigabyte EX58-UD3R
stealthxstream 600watt
6gb OCZ gold 1333mhz

Quite possibly. Some boards will do this, as a result you need to switch them off by the mains/power supply every time. What were your settings before?

i set my BCLK up higher to reach 3.8ghz and it was prime95, i was using stock vcore volts and slightly higher IOH @ 1.140v (default 1.100v) so pretty much everything was default.

will do. I just ran IBT with everything set to default and it still said my system is unstable -.- how can it be unstable when everything is set to the bios defaults :S Im running windows 7 64bit if that effects anything.

just a quick update, i have overclocked it back to 3.8ghz and increases the voltages very slightly i still havnt gone over the vcore safe voltage im at 1.28v which is much lower then the safe max of 1.35v and it seems the restarts on startup have stopped. i ran intel burn test and i failed it (my temps where 75c at highest point) so im just wondering even tho i failed that if i pass OCCT and prime95 small FFT test for 8 hours and mem test is that enough to declare the system stable? even tho i failed intel burn test? or should i try to pass intel burn test?

intel burn test - FAILED
OCCT - PASSED
Prime95 - hasnt finished
mem test - PASSED

IDLE TEMPS: - 32 - 36*c
LOAD TEMPS: - 66 - 73*c (75c on intel burn test)
