Has anyone successfully used 5 and 10m DP cables? Not for exotic resolutions, just 1080/60

I have some HP SFF PCs connected to LED screens some distance away, long cables just flicker with the image briefly. Never had this issue with HDMI cables of equal length, but these PCs don't have HDMI.

You want fibre-optic cables, especially at 10m. I don't believe OCUK sell them so head over to Amazon. I use ones from FIBBR for 4k which are currently £86 but there are cheaper ones.

One tip: fibre-optic DP cables are directional.

That's disappointing. I wouldn't have thought up to 10m would be a problem, never has been before. Even the 5m cables don't work. These are non-branded but from a reputable cable retailer. These box-fresh ProDesk computers just seem a bit pants. I put an old ProDesk 400 G2.5 in one of the rooms and it works fine over a suspect 10m DP cable
