Right this is a long shot and a half but will try anyway..Do any of you own or have owned a Ducati 916 and possibly took/taken pics of the Engine, rear swing arm, shock, exhaust downpipe areas? Only asking as im building a Tamiya Ducati 916 and some of the colours they give are odd as hell, and need to double check the colours - I dont want to mess up the colours on this thing, Quite a few of the 916's on google seem to be modded etc and not much of the stock parts left. Or do any of you bike buts know where i can get good stock pics of the 916s engine/swingarm/rear shock/exhaust downpipes.

Yea but close ups of the engine, rear swing arm, rear shock etc, found a few earlier but they have been race prepped and no longer had the stock parts/colours, I know its an odd request.

Yup got that bit, Tamiya want a mix of gold and silver for the shock, just trying to get a good pic to show the shade etc...apparently the crank cases are greyish green or something according to tamiya, they also want a mix of orange and silver for the exhaust downpipes, hence wanting good pics of them so I can match the colours as closely to the real thing, as to be honest some of the colour mixes don't make sense to me.

No big deal if I can't, as ill just paint it in normal colours if you were to add aftermarket bits etc.

Yup since posting this I've found a 916 rebuild thread on some other forum, got all the pics I need..and yea your all right on the colours but its the shade of the colour I needed to mix, considering the instructions were giving some odd ratio of colours...thanks for the help and input guys.

Well agnes that would be awesome, can never have too many reference pictures to work from, The 916 kit ive got has Showa Decals..if your still willing then anything like engine/swingarm/rear shock/exhaust downpipes etc oh and the front fairing where there is a gap between the front shocks and the front headlight unit (wires mainly) as ill attempt to add most of the wiring that i can reproduce. Could email the link to the album/zip to my trust mail.
