Been given an ipad here from a girl that died recently by her other half, he cant get into it as he doesn't know her PIN, theres photo's etc on the iPad that he obviously doesn't want to lose so doing a reset is a no go..

Yeah I can get her laptop if needs be so should be able to check it, I'll try putting the iPad on charge at their house and see if it'll do its automatic iCloud backup and try it off of the laptop itself and see what dates are on stuff, I wont know more until I get there just putting the feelers out now so I can go there and have a plan rather than getting there, trying 1 or 2 things and then having to sit reading through stuff on how to possibly do it and wasting time..

If you have dropbox, that will pull the pictures off easily when you plug it into a computer without needing the pin.

You can also use other software apps to access the files on the ipad without being able to login... just have to connect it by USB. I find it easiest on a Windows PC, but know it's possible on OSX/Linux

Will have to try via her laptop, its come to me with try again in 60 minutes on it, as soon as you plug it into itunes it wants the PIN and dropbox isnt picking it up.
