Hey everyone...

I'm looking to build a really good spec PC for gaming and some CAD programs which will last for a good number of years but I have a VERY small budget right now so my plan is build it bit by bit over time when I can afford the componants I want. This may take at least a year as I'm a poor poor student but I don't mine this.

What I want it to be future proof so I can upgrade to the newest, fastest CPU, graphics and RAM without many limits for the next few years.

Am I right in thinking a good mobo is the first place to start? Any suggestions on a good future proof mobo which can run current 'budget' hardware but I can improve and upgrade one stage at a time when I can afford it.

I'm not looking to overclock right now but maybe when I have some good components I may think about it then.

Thanks.
