I'm trying to figure out if the newer nvidia graphics cards will fit into the SG01- they seem a bit long?
from the silverstone site, the sg01 can take expansion cards up to 9.6"- thats 243.84 mm.... OcUK lists the XFX 260 GTX at 266.7 mm.... so no fit?
Some of the GTS250s are about 9" long. Just checked nvidia's reference card size design, and it says 10 inches for the 260s, so no hope of getting those in i guess.

Surely the SG01 will take a longer one than that? ...the little SG05 will take a 9" card, actually a tiny bit more than that if it doesn't have the 6 pin connector on the end of the card.

Hey mate, you'll be needing the SG01-F, it's designed for longer cards and can fit up to 12" beasts :P

hmm, i've been digging, and it looks like the sg01-f has redesigned where they position the hard drive cages and flipped it from one side to the other, to allow the longer card. going to have see if I can somehow bodge mine to do the same to get such a card in. seems a shame to fork out for a new case....

last time i checked the sg01 will only fit a card upto 24.6cm long with the HD cage installed. maybe a tad more.

with out the HD cage 35.6cm

hope that helps.

you could make your self a new replacement cage out of perspex metal or wood if needed. just pull out the
cage and trace it onto papers and use it as a template. thats what i would do anyway.

I thought silverstone made a sgo1 with an alternative drive cage so you could fit the long cards in ?

Or you could just run the Sugo without the drive cage and mount a HDD in the spare 5.25" bay.

That's what I did.
