i had to sell my old gaming pc just over a year ago and it's only in the last month i've scraped together the parts to make a basic system capable of playing my old games. i've just started crysis again and am getting mullered on the very first level. i'm sure i breezed through most of it on my first play. i must be well out of shape.

so i was just wondering how long other people have taken breaks for and how did it affect your concentration/skill levels when you started up again? :p

are we talking gaming in general with consoles etc or just pc's?

Was pc gaming free from when I was 13 until 18-19, discovered these things called girls, cost about the same as a gaming rig once you import them from Russia.

To this day I'm still pants at FPS, and trying my best to catch up on the classics like HL, Deus Ex and the like.

The majority of my final Uni year. I'm actually finding it kind of difficult to get back into. Not many games that seem good or that wil grip me.

Dishonoured was good'ish, but too short and quite easy.

Seems I've gotten to the stage where I enjoy reading articles things more than gaming at the moment.

Maybe a week or so, not that I am addicted or anything as I haven't been addicted to a game since Quake 3. PC gaming is my stress reliever now, it's a tool that I use to forget about problems in my life for a few hours.

4 Yrs since starting my own business. I bought Alan wake when it was cheap the other week but not had chance to download it yet.

If I have time to play games I have time to do more work. Jeez I need a holiday... But too busy.

Lost a big contract last june had to lay off 18 drivers. Not going to let that happen again. As of this Monday coming will have 34 drivers. Been a hell of a last 12 months
