I am waiting 2 months this tuesday for my beautifully (hopefully) quiet gamerock 5070ti. Am waiting because i got it for under 800, i think its a great card and i can't get any better for the money. I was hoping to get it before crimson desert.

What is the longest you guys have waited for a pre order?
I think i waited about 2 months for my 5900x during COVID when i was almost 300th in the que. mad times, just like now.

Mine was for the 5900X too, ordered it on the 5th Nov 2020, didn't arrive until the end of Feb 2021. Then when it did eventually turn up I found my X570 Tomahawk that was ordered at the same time as the 5900X was DOA and since it was older than 30 days I had to deal with MSI direct... who took until the end of April to replace the board. Was a little frustrating at the time but the 5900X is still going strong today

I wouldn't wait two months for a 5070ti just because it's white and under £800 I can tell you that much.

There's plenty of 5070ti and 9070XT's in stock to be found in the UK (including white versions), waiting that long for aesthetics over buying something else that would have given you identical performance you could have enjoyed this entire time?

No thanks, I can understand people struggling during the Covid period for parts, but what you've explained is entirely self inflicted lol.

I genuinely hope it turns up soon.

They are not white this generation or the crystal rainbow theme they had before.

I do agree that is a long time to wait for a pre-order and would be asking questions or if they can exchange it with one in stock that you like.

Long day and bleary eyed, read quiet as white.

But yeah, I'd not wait that long regardless. There's plenty of very good on par cards for similar money.

I just cancelled my preorder for a xfx oc mercery 9070xt. ordered on 08/01/26 and thought after 2 months i would rather get some ubiquiti stuff and let my evga 3080 solider on for another year.

Those mercury cards seemed to vanish from around November\December last year, I've yet to see another store have them in stock since then.

Yer, it was between them and the nitro, i would have got the nitro if it was in black rather then the grey. the 9070xt has been out a year now, i cant wait again to upgrade.

Seem to remember back in the gtx 1080 days people were waiting for Strix's and whatnot for six months or more. Most of those orders were simply never fulfilled

Same happened COVID time 2020, when people pre-ordered 3080s and waited weeks and months for them and retailers held on to their money and cancelled the pre-orders and asked their customers then to ask for a refund, strangest thing I had ever seen then, because as we saw back then prices shot up due to mining and they got the stock and sold it at the inflated prices and said to pre-order customers sorry you need to re-buy it at the new extortionate price.

I've got the Palit Gamerock 5070Ti and it's a great card. Very good performance and cooling is great and also quiet. Currently it's sitting in my Asus B650E-E system with a 7800X3D playing Resident evil requiem and it's great. I also own 2 9070XTs both sapphire a Nitro and a pure in a 9800X3D and 5800X3D PC's but I mostly use the Palit as it's great.
