Longest wait you've experienced after an interview?

As title the title says, how long have you waited?

Have you ever had a long wait, yet you were successful in getting the job?

I had an interview on Friday, which went fantastically well, but I'm still none the wiser.

I have another interview on Wednesday, I either call this evening or Tuesday.

The job I'm waiting for is my first choice.

Well, they said they should have been making a decision on Monday, and as I was leaving the hiring manager said I should hear within two weeks.

I'd of thought unsuccessful candidates will probably be waiting the two weeks.

Ah well. I'll see if I hear anything by 4.30 and maybe call.

Well, I applied for the job in January and received an offer for interview on the 22nd of March, so I guess that says something about their recruitment speed.

As far as interview feedback goes, it was genuinely a great interview, I can only see myself not getting it if someone else had more experience. But the job included a year of training...

Well, I got in contact with the hiring manager since I started the thread. Unsuccessful. However he called me back and gave me a really good chat, and praised me for a fantastic interview. Apparently the competition was just too much, the job would have included training, however there were contractors with 5-10 years of experience looking for a permanent role.

Ah well, another interview on Wednesday.
