Hi guys, I know this is a longshot but I'm after some help with my LDV Cub camper, which is the same as a Nissan Vanette and Nissan Serena for parts etc.

The drivers side electric window has stopped working although the passenger side is still ok.
I'm pretty confident that its down to a fuse rather than the regulator because it was working fine when I last used it a few months ago and it is completely dead now.

The thing it though, I cannot find where the heck the fuse is for either side - assuming there *is* a fuse for both sides...

I've been through the owners manual and looked at all the fuse boxes I can find but I'm getting nowhere.
I even bought a service manual online and there is talk of relays and a couple of diagrams showing the electric window systems but I'm like a fish out of water!

If anyone has any advice I'd be really thankful, or if someone who knows about stuff like this would be happy for me to send the service manual pdf in trust or something to have a look that would be brilliant!

Ta :)

Can't comment on this van, but it happened on a parents car when I was a sprog, and it wasn't a fuse, rather a loose wire inside the motor in the door. Repeated jostling from closing the door worked it loose. Get the door card off and see if the switch is getting power, if so check if the motor is getting power, etc. Break out the multimeter!

Check the cables going to the door, my sister had an issue with the electric window on her car and it turned out to be a dodgy connector on the cable between the frame and the door.

Got a really weird problem with the ford ranger at work.

Sometimes the driver side electric window doesn't work, But if i turn the ignition switch back off and back on again then the driver side electric window starts working again..:confused::confused:
