The look reminds me of those run down Sea-Side café's from the 80's (Visitors to Rhyl will know what I'm on about..) that were trying too hard to look chic and failing miserably.
 
The stereo fitting looks tacky as. But, it's his car so he can do what he wants. I would never do that to a Jag.

Those colours are factory options for the XJR I'm sure. I friend of a friend has an XJR with that interior (or very similar) anyway.

Really not a fan of that shiny / wet looking leather though. It shouldn't be like that.

It says he used a kit from www.furnitureclinic.co.uk so nope, not paint in the sense you are thinking of. He would however be spraying on a leather colourant as I understand the process so the compressor in another picture is going to come in rather handy.

I preferred the car before but credit where it's due, he's put a lot of work into that.
