Am I looking for too much? From what I've read, most of the wireless routers have issues, esp. with large p2p usage, due to the number of connections being made. I am probably a medium user (usually 5-10 GB a month).

My current router - Netgear DG834Gv3 seems to suffer from this - and also, strangely, from heavy HTTP usage - if I set up page clickers (for a game I play) that tabs through 10 IE 7 tabs, clicking, on a frequency of around 3-4 seconds per page, then after a few hundred pages, things start crawling.

Basically, I have to either re-set my connection, re-boot my router or even cold-boot my router about every 2 days or so!!

I on Nildram ADSL2+ connection (which now means PIPex) that was recently LLU'd, with a download speed of just under 4MB, and uploads around 390K.

I am considered OC's special today - Netgear DG834N 270Mbps ADSL2+ Modem/Router . Is this going to be more robust than what I currently have?
Any other suggestions to increase (a) stability, and (b) if possible, speed, although according to SpeedTest.Net, my connection (when it works) is > 54% of UK pop, so I guess trying for 8MBs or better is unlikely.
