look i made a website

That looks pretty good to me. Nice picture and I like the way it blends into the page on the right hand side. The blue background does make a couple of the other colours quite hard to see but that could just be my monitor/eyes.

The dates are a little difficult to read being in an American format.

It's quite difficult to distinguish between the buttons and the entryfield areas e.g in the search part of the screen.

The only other thing I can see is that the site in general is too tall and not wide enough, resulting in lots of scrolling up and down. I'm using 1280 x 1024 resolution. Maybe the main picture could be made shorter for pages other than the home page e.g turned into a banner of sorts?

Overall, I like the site. It's clear and not overladen with clutter which is always good. I'm certainly no web-designer so these comments are just based on appearance and how easy the site is to use.

Hope those comments are useful anyway.
 
thanks. i'm just testing the features.

i have setup different multiple themes for diffent pages.

it is my goal so that the forum section will wider. as there seems to be lots of complaints lol

i have to customise all my themes so that it all blends as a set. but it will be time consuming

btw i am using xoops lol
 
i will be delving deeper into the xoops code, to find out what kind of modifications i can do.

my knowledge in php and java are limited lol

i will record my findings and maybe will be helpful to web designers.
