What's the general starting wage for a doctor fresh out of medical school over there? In Liverpool it's a paltry £32k, though more down south e.g. in London.

All medical staff here are in general very desirable so almost anyone in medicine starts of very well. As for as im aware a doctor fresh out of compten is starting around $70-80K which is slightly more then the UK wage but as you know that money goes an awful long way here.

You should look into moving over, as your going into the medical profession US immigration will look favorably on your application.
