Look what i just bought

Hi all,

Ok, so i finally decided to take the plunge and build my 1st pc. My old one is a 4yr old 939 socket, AGP, DDR you get the idea!

So as i will shortly be losing my cherry, what do you think?

All advice is welcome. Here's what i'm getting so do you think i'm gonna need anything else i.e: sound card, cable extensions, thermal paste etc?

All looks fine to me, why not got for a second 4870 if your already spending that much?
would bring your build upto to a nice round £2000

Oh and get some artic silver 5

Is that 620w PSU powerful enough to run that system?
I did a PSU calculator on a system almost identical to that, all the same except but another 4870, I was told it needed 950w.
Surely a singular 4870 doesn't require 300 odd watts!

Do i get enough fans with the 1200?

Also how about extension cables i thought i saw somewhere that it was reccommended.

Gonna plan on taking my time and doing a really neat job.

Also anyone know what the onboard sound is like?

620W will run his system fine.

And you definatley don't need a 950W+ psu to run that system with another 4870.
