My mac family is growing!

It's just the base 2.4, 1GB RAM model but it's still nice. :D

Now I have one quick question, I didn't buy this new and it did not come with any recovery disks. I have been told that the recovery disks from my macbook will not work, is this correct? If so is there any way to get some recovery disks for it?

Not a problem right now but I wanted to do a full restore and could need them in the future too.

Thanks. :)

I'm going into the apple shop tomorrow so I will ask them if there is anything they can do.

Does anyone know if you can connect the imac up to an external display and turn the built in display off. I can do it on my macbook, just wondering if there is a similar function to the imac.
