Hallo everybody peeps
I haven't really popped in here much before a couple of days ago. I am a long time extreme geeky nerd and over clocker.
I used to hang out in the EOCF forums; but coming out of hiding recently I discovered that EOCF site is now mostly a ghost town .
So to quench my thirst for techie content and advice; I decided to finally make a new account on here, after I tried everything to get into my old account, but no password reset email ever reached me.
So I am Rachel and I am a happily married, retired (disabled) ex-cabbie and also was a SCM & Software Deployment Manager for many years.
I have been overclocking since my first PC; an AMD 386DX40. I soldered a toggle switch to the jumpers that set the clock speed so I could toggle it to 50MHz when playing Doom. I still enjoy the challenge of a good overclock, but tend not to run 24/7 much above stock these days.
I have recently upgraded both mine and my husband's rigs to Ryzen 9 3900X based systems. Having been an Intel fangurl most of my life, it has been a good learning curve and I must admit that it has impressed me immensely.
I will be lurking a lot and I love giving my advice and opinions, one symptom of having Aspergers is that I cannot help but throw in when I see someone needing my advice.
I have my rig in my signature for anyone that is interested.
I love my three kitties (14yr old Bengal girl, 12yr old Bengal boy and a 8month old Tuxedo kitten). I am a total tech-head and love new stuff.
So that's it from me (as the aforementioned kitties are yowling for their supper).
