I'm currently using:

Asrock Dual Series SATA 2 Mobo PCI-e x16, agp x8.
Athlon 3200+ at 2.0Ghz
Geforce 6800 LE AGP X8
350 Watt PSU
1.5GB RAM
SATA2 250GB DiamondMax

and I'm looking to upgrade some parts.
I'm goin for:

Hiper Modular Type R 580W PSU (peak wattage 630) £59.99 inc Vat
BFG8800 GTS
Aswel as a Saitek Eclipse Keyboard £23 inc Vat, a Gaming Mouse £13 inc Vat, and a 19" Widescreen 5 ms Monitor £124 inc Vat.

Basically, I need to know if All of them will work well together, I'm pretty sure they will, but you guys probably know more then me.

I'm on a Budget with the psu, around 60 quid max.

Also, What sorta case should I look for, I have around 40 quid to spend on one, and I thought of a CoolerMaster Cavalier 3, but I'm not sure if the grfx card will fit inside, also I need a case with good airflow, so I can overclock my system and raise it's performance.

Thanks in Advance, and any relevant / all advice will be greatly appreciated, Cheers ;)

Isn't the 8800GTX the one with length issues? 10.500in (26.67cm) vs 8.999in (22.86cm) long GTS (see here & here). So, open your case & get your ruler/measuring tape/etc out :)

Agree with bringerofdecay about that PSU. Look at the ones he's recommended in particular Seasonic. Remember for a (single) 8800GTS based system 400W's should be enough ;)

although i would never recommend using the minimum to do the job, a 450w or even a 500w would be far better, and for little more money

@hp7909, didn't realize there was a difference, not looked into the 8800's much, as if i ever intend to drop a bomb of money like that it will be on an ATi dx10 ;)

oh right, thanks guys, appreciate it.

I was under the impretion the new design of the card required a 600 watt or something, or, rather, I wasn't sure and didn't wanna make a mistake. but it's all good, thanks a lot, i'll check out Seasonic 500W PSUs.

Minimum recommended Watts for (single) GTS is 400W & GTX 450W. BUT PSU must have at least 26A on the +12V Rail. See here
