Looking at 3D TV need help

I'm looking at getting a new 3D tv soon but im not sure what to go for.

I think i want to stay with LG as my current 42" is incredible.

Should I get a 50" plasma 1080p 600Hz 3D TV.

Or should I go LCD and get a 42" LCD LED 3D tv instead?

are plasmas better or worse from personal experience

Plasmas have a better picture in my experience, and Pansonic seem to be on top. Maybe look at the Panasonic 50GT50.

I have the 42ST30 which is last years model and I'm very pleased with PQ, just wish I'd got bigger now.

It does depend what type of 3D you want though. Panasonic does Active 3D which means the glasses cost between £50 -£100 each, but the picture quality is best, whereas other makes (I think LG) use Passive 3D and glasses are dirt cheap.
