looking at 4 gig of gskill??

Are there any issues with clocking a conroe if you use all 4 slots for 4 gig of ram? Just double checking

on AMD yes, on Intel, No.

Why do you need 4Gb anyway? Games/normal usage it is NOT needed, if you do 24/7 3D/photoshop/video work then yes.

Eh? There is no need for 4Gb in the normal usage/gaming environment for a good year yet. By that time new, quicker, better mem is out and its a waste of money.

Future proofing is a waste of money. 939 was supposed to be around for a long time

LGA775 will be phased out in the next year or two

Stick with what you need, thats it

How many times have I seen that where people have posted people don't need 4Gb. 2 Years ago you would never have touched 1GB of ram. Future proof it. If you have the money then do it.

Totally agree, bought my set up at the back end of last year and now its to become old hat. I thought 939 was here for the long hall, just another money making exercise!
