Hey, Hello!

I have a desktop and a laptop but only have room for the one full sized keyboard and mouse. Now, the keyboard has dual USB connections (Corsair K95 RGB) plus mouse makes three USB required, the desktop has DisplayPort and the laptop has HDMI. I can't seem to find a normal KVM to handle this combination.

I already have a 34" LG monitor (old one though) and that dual control is not working for me plus the resolution when running side by side is unusable. My second monitor is a 27" ASUS which I have the laptop plugged into and use Mouse without Borders, but this is not ideal!

I've seen the Philips 49" 499P9H/00 monitor has a built in KVM. My Thought is to either use the KVM and switch from one system to the other using the 49" monitor at full resolution, or use the Side by Side display and run each as a 27" monitor per system and have the 34" monitor as the primary display for the PC.

Has anyone got this monitor with two systems and how do they find the KVM feature?

Thanks for any help here.

I may look into this as I need a replacement monitor to run cad in the office meeting room. I was actually going to get the bdm4350uc which is a fair bit smaller but seeing as it looks to be EOL I need an alternative.

Well, after speaking to my manager, I managed to twist his arm and he should be purchasing one for me. Trouble is, he has to buy it in the USA (I work for an American company but live in the UK). Let you all know when it gets here what I think about it.

Did it turn out to be any good?
