Heya guys, as the title suggests I want to get a 295x2.

NOW, I already own a 780TI but I've just got a 4k screen and I can say it STRUGGLES sometimes on things. The only thing I worry about is:

Will this card handle 4k like a dream?

Are AMD drivers still as terrible as they were when they first released R9 Series?

My PSU is AX 860W, Will I need to upgrade?

Thanks all.

No but it will be a lot better than a 780ti

The 295X2 @4K will be twice as fast and you will have an extra 1gb of VRAM so you can use higher settings.

Drivers are very good for 2 way CF, for 4K catalyst 14.6 or later seem to work best.

As long as you are not running an intel hexcore with a big overclock you should be ok with the PSU.

Not according to the OcUK website.

At £1300 you'd be much better of pre-ordering one of the £700 Sapphire cards and fitting your own waterblock.

Am after one asap sadly which is the annoying part. I'd have to buy the 1 grand one and buy a waterblock for it which is gonna cost me a bomb :P

You're changing from a 780Ti to a 295X2 which doesn't suggest any desperate urgency.

The ETA on the £700 cards is 10 September.

Can't you wait a few days to save several hundred pounds?

Oh I thought it was next month not this month sorry.

Why are they so cheap?

Don't hang around.

There are only 100 at that price and 47 were sold by lunchtime yesterday.

Damn you!
