Looking at headsets

Hi,

Looking at getting a new gaming headset that will be used in FPS games such as CS2 BF2142 etc and I'm not clued up on what's best to get, will require a mic

Was looking at the steelseries Arctis Nova Pro or the razer kracken Pro but don't know the best headset to get or ifs there a brand I've not looked it

If you want to go wireless then I would go for Hyoer X Alpha Wireless. 300hrs battery life and exceptional sound. I love them.

I would avoid “gaming” headsets personally and look at some half decent open back headphones. You can add a standalone USB mic if you need one. HD560s have great imaging for gaming and sound great listening to music as well. They are also low impedance so are easily driven by plugging straight into your motherboard so no need for an amp.

For good all in one option check out a pc38x.

If you want thebest headset there is only 1 answer - Audeze Maxwell. Its miles ahead of any competition. Battery life is great too, roughly 60hrs.
