Looking at MacBook Pros

Not quite sure what your after so I just took a few of some wallpapers on the monitor...though I haven't got the greatest camera in the world. :o

Surely there must be some decent pics of it on the net? ;)

You don't find many non-press photo's - with a decent camera you can get a good idea of the level of colour on a monitor.

As it happens, I won a second hand Dell 2408WFP on ebay quite unexpectedly - I don't think the price was too bad at £260 considering it has the sound bar, which I can sell and make a little bit of money back on.

Have had my MBP Pro 15", 250Gb, 4Gb, 2.53 Duo for about 5 months now. Had PCs before that. Since getting the Mac it's been a gradual, but unconscious, switch over. being a web developer I don't really have a vast array of applications. I just need to run them very productively and mac seems to do everything quicker.

With PC it seemed to chunter doing things, when in fact it nothing to do. With Mac it just seems effortless doing work - and that's what I like about it. I wouldn't hesitate in getting one.

Got to agree with the above. Also the resale value is amazing. I buy a new macbook every year then sell the old one on the bay. I only lose about £70 - £100 pounds worth of value, and thats over the entire year! The pics of the macbook above is the one I'm selling on the bay. So far I've got a £510 bid on it, and it still has 3 days to go on auction.

How many windows laptops do you know can do that. I'll probably get about £700-£800 in the end, which means I'll probably lose nothing on it. And for my troubles I've managed to get a brand new shiny macbook pro that only cost me £772 with the student discount. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my macs :)
