Hi guys.

I am looking at replacing my motherboard and system case.

Currently:

i5 3570k @ 4.4GHZ
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
180GB Intel 330 SSD
500GB slave IDE
Geforce 670ti MSI Power Edition 2048MB
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Carbide 300R case
Corsair H100 cooler

Room is very tight at the top with the H100 almost touching the RAM. I've never been that impressed with this motherboard. It took me ages and ages to get a stable overclock. Even now it seems to have a mind of it's own.

Therefore I'd like to get a new case and motherboard and use the old case for my slave system.

Anything you recommend that is decent for overclocking and slightly futureproof? Without breaking the bank really. Don't mind spending £100+ on a motherboard and £80-£90 on a case.

Many thanks,
Alex.

Can't really recommend a z77 board as I have no experience with any but the case is something I wouldn't skimp on either, I got fed up with smallish cases, real pain when you want to add in something. I came from a Antec 902 and got a Corsair Obsidian 750D, It's a beautiful case and pictures just doesn't do it justice, you have to see it and touch it to really appreciate it, it's an absolute pleasure to work in, so much space, I know you said £80-£90 for one but honestly find that little extra and treat yourself to this beaut..

Forgot to add would like to keep the colour scheme inside to white/blue if possible? The 750D looks lovely. Might have to wait until New Year to get it all together.

Also forgot to add have a 700W Corsair GS700 PSU.
