Hya there folks looking at upgrading my current system potentially.

Current specs are

i-5 3570k
Z77 Sabertooth
2 x 4gb (running at 2133mhz)geil evo corsa memory
3gb his icq boost 7950
Asus xonar essence STX
250gb samsung pro SSD
2x 2tb WD cav black HD's
The cpu is fully water cooled with a custom made loop.

Looking to tweak the system a little bit, main reason being my mums cpu just went boom so she needs a new one and thought may be an excuse to do a deal with her and upgrade my rig.

Main uses for the system are gaming(bf4, arma3 etc.) and general usage, it isn't used for video editing yet(will be in the future) but i don't want to spend thousands quite happy if i have to put 300-500 into it depending on the benefits. Would it be worth picking up a haswell bored and cpu>?

I would just get another used 7950 and CFX them.

Replace your mums CPU and keep what you have.

The differences between the 2500K, 2550K, 3570K, 4670K and 4690K are negligible once you start overclocking. There is very little performance to be gained moving to Haswell.
