ok had a blast the other night playing street fighter iv pc during bouts of cards with a few mates. is there any other decent 2 player games on the pc? resident evil 5 has a co-op mode - is it online only? i gues there would be pro evo soccer or fifa games. is there anything else like split screen racing games or split screen fps games on the pc? thanks

L4D has a coop mode if you use an XBOX pad, should be plenty of guides for enabling it around the net if you take a quick google.

Gears of war PC you can use 2 360 pads CO-OP also Online CO-OP and Saga Rally PC you can use 2 360 pads that's all i can think of.:D

gears of war?im 100% positive that you cant? can remember buying it after being told it was co-op on pc , but it wasn't.....only on consoles it was co-op offline

kane and lynch is a good co-op (split screen), me and my mate enjoyed it

watchmen part 1 and 2 is co-op (split screen)

serious sam is co-op

then theres your obvious games like fifa/street fighter n such as you've said

Whilst Serious Sam is split screen co-op, it is very difficult to get setup properly. I tried configuring a 360 controller for player 2 and it sucked. :(

Would probably work well if you have an old controller that it is optimised for.

You mention using 360 controllers on the PC, I know PS3 controllers can be made to work, but how easy are they to configure in game?

GT5 is out this winter hopefully, that'll have local multiplayer racing.

GT5 = gran turismo 5? aint that a ps3 exclusive?

whats point when 95% of pc games released now are already mapped for the 360 pad?

plus the 360 pad aint a complete shambles like the ps3 pad

ive never actually played, infact i dont even know what it is to be fair can just remember someone saying it in another thread

Dynasty Warriors 4, 5, & 6, Samurai Warriors 2 or Warriors Orochi if you fancy some old school button mashing beat'em up. All of these offer 2 player split-screen co-op play.

For other sports games, you could try Virtua Tennis 3/2009 or the Top Spin series.

As mentioned before, Sega Rally Revo has 2 player split-screen.

If you fancy another fighting game that is avaliable for the PC, then there is Gulity Gear XX# Reload.

Does Sega Rally Revo allow the use of 2 360 controllers now? Last time I played I could only set it up for use using 1 controller and 1 keyboard, which sucks a little.

cheers guys guess ill check out l4d and kane and lynch. i akso read that resident evil 5 does have a split screen co op which is cool. does the racing games gtr evolution or race driver grid have split screen?
