Looking for a pair of monitors, ideally 27", 144hz and 1440.

Was considering the iiyama GB2760QSU-B1 but I haven't had any iiyama products before, I like the narrow edges/bezel on it though.

Anyone tried this monitor or got any recommendations ?

Thanks!

I have the dell 2716g arriving tomorrow. From what i have read it is a fantastic monitor and its 27” 144hz gsynx. A bit pricey ar 550 but still about 100 cheaper than the asus/acer models i was going to go with.

Just be wary that if you go for an IPS panel, there is a real quality control issue. I went through 6 monitors by various manufacturers until I finally got a good one! It was worth it though.

The good one was a ViewSonic XG2703-GS (my third attempt with that particular model).

(Dell S2716DG) I have this monitor. It is the best TN panel I have ever seen. I have no backlight bleed, no dead or stuck pixels, and the Gsync is fantastic. Also has very low response time and input lag. I actually got better at Overwatch because of this monitor. I totally recommend it.

On paper, there are IPS models that are 27" 144Hz that are better. In theory they are. And in practice too- IF you get a good one that doesn't come out of the box with dead/stuck pixels or horrible backlight bleed or anything like that. These issues are common on these monitors for some reason. Apparently ASUS is the worst offender for these issues (Must have really lazy or lax QC?)

If you want a sure thing get the Dell. If you want to roll the dice a bit and possibly have to swap monitors 2 or 3 times until you get one thats actually good, get the IPS models. Keep in mind that none of them have the 1ms response time of the Dell (AFAIK)

Would I like the Dell to have better colour than it does? Sure. Does it have BAD colour? No, but of course, no TN, even at this price, will match an IPS.

Having said that there are some really janky horrible IPS panels in the 100 pound range which this Dell looks better than, but that's not a fair comparison.
