As above. I'm after a laptop that meets the following criteria:
1. 15.6" or 17.3" screen size.
2. I'd like the screen to be 1080p.
3. It needs to good on battery life (6 hrs min).
4. min 8gb of ram.
5. Pref SSD drive but if not then i'll pull the drive out and stick one in myself.
6. 3rd or 4th gen i5 or i7 cpu.
7. Budget max of £1000. will go higher but it would have to be really special.
This is not to be used for gaming so shared graphics is fine. Dedicated gpu's kill the battery life anyway.
Any suggestions? i'm having a hard time finding one that meets the criteria. I was gonna wait for the Samsung ATIV book 9 2014 to be released but that has been and gone with no news on when they will actually release it.
